The accompanying Memorial for a Warrant was laid before Lodge 144, Lodge No. 142, Lodge 377 at their stated
communications held on 26th day of March 1945, 13th day of March 1945 and on the 17th day of April respectively.
When it was resolved that the same be recommended to the favourable consideration of Grand Lodge.
Annalong Fish Night.
The Lodges' October communication plays host to the annual "Annalong Fish Night".
This is a spectacular feast of seafood that is donated by the members of the Lodge. "Annalong Fish Night".
This event has become well renowned in the local Masonic calendar and is looked forward to with great anticipation by members and visitors alike.
THE CONSTITUTION OF LODGE 696..
An Occasional Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Down was held on Thursday 9th August, 1945, at 4.30 p.m., in the Schoolroom, Annalong, Co. Down for the purpose of Constituting and Dedicating the ‘Mourne’ Masonc Lodge No. 696. | ||||

Provincial Grand Lodge was opened in due form and the Ceremony of Constitution and Dedication was carried out in accordance with ancient custom – W. Bro. Isaac Hamilton was installed as first Worshipful Master after which he installed the Officers of ‘Mourne’ Masonic Lodge. | ||||
A hearty vote of thanks to R.W. Bro. Robinson and the Officers of Provincial Grand Lodge was passed on the proposition of Bro. John H. Adamson, seconded by W. Bro. W.W. Baillie. Provincial Grand Lodge was closed in due form – Peace, Love and Harmony prevailing. | ||||
All present were afterwards entertained to Lunch in the Orange Hall. The usual Toasts were duly honoured – the Charity Toast was received with great enthusiasm and the collection taken amounted to £100. | ||||
